Once upon a time I worked in international finance and business. These days, when I'm not writing, I am to be found playing tennis, rowing or attempting to train my spaniel, Furlough. (They say labradors are born half-trained and spaniels die half-trained. This could take a while.) I adore my garden and open it with the National Garden Scheme for charity. I recently revived my career as a church organist, abandoned at the age of 17. I am now officially the Organist of Last Resort at my village church. I live in Somerset.
